equipment

First, it's important for me to say there are two types of people in this world: Nikon people...and Canon people. Some people are Canon people. I'm a Nikon person. :)

This is a list of the equipment I bring with me to nearly every single wedding and most of it comes to portrait shoots as well:

The Cameras:

  • 2 Nikon D850 camera bodies: Incredible detail, 45.7 megapixels, and up to 9fps shooting. Let's just say I'm obsessed with the detail in every shot.

  • Nikon D810 camera body: One of my back-up camera’s, this is a full-frame, 36.3 megapixel camera that captures crisp, beautiful images even in low light on high ISO

  • Nikon D800E: My other back-up camera which has very similar specs to the D810.

The Lenses:

I'm sort of a lens hoarder, so while I have several others, these are my tried and true friends that come with me on every shoot:

  • 2 Nikkor 24-70mm 2.8 VR zoom lenses

  • Nikkor 70-200mm 2.8 VR zoom lens

  • Nikkor 14-24mm 2.8 zoom lens

  • Nikkor 35mm 1.8 prime lens

  • Nikkor 50mm 1.4 prime lens

  • Nikkor 85mm 1.8 prime lens

  • Nikkor 105mm 2.8 VR micro prime lens

The Lighting:

  • 4 Flashpoint Speedlights

  • 4 Flashpoint XPLOR 600PRO TTL Monolight
